Shopping Is My Cardio–Time To Visit the Young British Designers

Hello guys! I hope you are all having a fantastic
week. As we are in our exams right now I am posting a little bit less. However, I am trying to come back to you as often as possible. By the way, in the exam last week I had to think about you. The teacher presented a lesson where the students had to create their own outfits and present them in French. Apparently, fashion blogging and teaching are not as far apart as I have thought them to be.

This morning I thought it was definitely time to do some online shopping and my faithful readers already know what that means. I am visiting the Young British Designers to see what’s new in and as always I have been very successful…So let’s take a glimpse at my favourite summer 2016 trends spotted at the YBDs.

The blue cotton striped shirt by Teija Eilola is the perfect answer to my love for the nautical trend 2016. The A-line form and the slightly oversized look fit perfectly with shorts and cropped pants. And the blue-white striped shirt makes me often look and feel fresher than I am, especially at 6 o’clock in the morning. I love the combination with the green pants in the first pic, in particular.

Is there anything more to say about this wonderful dress in midnight blue by Teija Eilola? The colour is classic and modern at the same time. You can wear it at business, combining it with a blazer, or anywhere else. The perfect dress that I would wear forever.

Another wonderful dress that speaks for itself, the sleeveless capuccino midi dress by Teija Eilola. Apart from the form, I adore the colour that reminds me of a beautiful trip to Africa, discovering places I have never seen before, entering another world…perfectly dressed.

If you haven’t found your perfect statement coat for summer 2016 yet, it’s not a problem. Here it is!The showerproof summercape in denim twill by Teija Eilola is elegant, cool and trendy and at the smae time practical. You can really combine it with everything. I love the colour and would love to wear it during my guided tours as the summer can be very undpredictable…

There is no closet without a white blouse and looking at this photo makes one understand why. The white tuexedo oversized shirt by Teija Eilola is classic, cool and timeless and as so many of the pieces here you can combine it with everything.

It is not only the white blouse that should be part of every closet but also the grey sweater. This one by Charlie May is simply amazing because of its bell sleeves and the combination of cotton and merino wool. The perfect companion for summer evenings…

If you still haven’t found the perfect dress you may love this one in buttercup by Georgia Hardinge. For me the perfect dress to impress at a party, in the beach club, at a ball or maybe at a wedding. Fresh, happy and flattering, the perfect summer dress 2016…

Sweethearts that was it for today. I hope you enjoyed my little shopping trip with you to the YBDs. I am leaving for a guided tour to Seligenstadt now.
I see you in a few days, guys.
Do not forget to enjoy some fashionable moments!
